REGURGITATIONS

So you are upset about Antifa?  Not our President calling Mexicans rapists, Muslims terrorists and a white guy driving 600 miles to kill Mexicans embolden by the words of our President (invasion, gangs and rapists) .  A white guy killed 22 innocent people.... 19 of whom were American citizens and what sent you over the edge is Antifa? The President's staff (and most likely Trump) conspired with Russia to influence an election.... numerous people were sent to prison for their roles and you are upset about Antifa? The wound you see has always been here.... in fact... it used to be bigger but now with social media we are more aware of the chasm. Things are much better than they used to be.... you posted last week about the astronauts going to the moon... a great moment in American and World history. What you did not remember is the year before MLK and RFK were gunned down.... killed by racists and haters. Three years before Malcolm X was killed.... two years before that JFK...

      I am tired of the all or nothing people.... they are such a large part of the problem.... these people cannot be reasoned with.... it is as if they have detached so far from reality they cannot see that which is directly in front of them.... they are a hindrance to society and it's evolution. They are the people that believe all Christians are good, all soldiers are heroes, all policemen are respectable and America is infallible. These people believe the American dream is real despite the fact they are poorly educated and mired in poverty. They believe freedom is owning a gun while married to a person they despise but don't leave. They believe America supports the soldiers while complaining about the VA healthcare system which is run and underfunded by Americans. They believe soldiers give us our freedom while carrying a pocket constitution which originally outlined said freedoms. They are too blinded by their faith in a system that ...

Donald Sterling has decided he will not be voluntarily tied to a tree while the NBA attempts to whip him.   He will fight back despite the NBA’s attempts to chop off his foot.   I appreciate his fighting spirit and his obvious attempts to further thin the veil of his racist attitudes with further racist and ignorant remarks.   He is entitled to his views.   Some of us may find them offensive and reminiscent of a shameful time but I am sure he is not the only NBA owner who has such views.   He is simply the only one stupid enough to express them in a PRIVATE conversation which was eventually made public.   Private conversations should not be made public but once they are one cannot place the Genie back in the bottle.   Now the NBA and the public must deal with the consequences of Sterling’s words.      Sterling’s unwillingness to go quietly into the night is a dream come true for me.   His unrepentant attitude will forc...

     Phil Robertson, the patriarch of the reality show Duck Dynasty, supposedly participated in hate speech today.  He made anti-gay remarks.  Well... sort of.  He quoted his Bible.  Which we all know is full of hate speech.  Yet we pretend we don't know this.  We pretend the Bible does not participate in hate speech towards gays, women and other religions.  We pretend it doesn't encourage murder in both action and words.  We are so adorable.      Now we are going to feign outrage at Robertson's remarks.  He was just paraphrasing (accurately) his religious doctrine, the Bible.  Evidently this man cannot accurately represent his religion.
