CHOP OFF DR. LAURA'S FOOT!


Dr. Laura let the world know what every white person in America already knew. Like Lays potato chips, when it comes to the n-word you can't have just one. When the tape was played for Jesse Jackson he took a step back and shrieked "Nigga....please!" Dr. Laura wants to know why white people can't say the word "nigger". Here's why - CAUSE WE HAVE BEEN SAYING IT FOR 4OO YEARS! White people INVENTED the word. Now we want it back! Cause we are pissed that black people took a word created to intimidate and belittle and made it cool and hip.
You don't see us whites whining to use the Spanish word "vato". It's not our word and we didn't invent it to dehumanize Mexicans. At this time in history the word "vato" has no value to white Americans, much like the peso. But give us time......this could change. We, white America, are pissed because black people took our lemon and made lemonade.
Some of my ignorant and/or racist fellow "whities" will say I suffer from "white guilt". This is incorrect. I suffer from "white shame". It was my family members who torched the Freedom Riders in Gadsden, Alabama. Some of you will say "my family did nothing". You are right! Your families stood quietly by as a race of people were demonized, dehumanized and disenfranchised.
Many people will claim I am a bleeding heart liberal. This could not be further from the truth. I simply want a level playing field. I want to know when we all run to the marketplace and I win it is not because.......... I had a 400 YEAR headstart!!!

AMERICA... THE DYSFUNCTIONAL PARENT

     My 50+ years on this earth I've had many extraordinary experiences.  I've have taken advantage of everything America had to offer.  Early on, at the age of nineteen, I learned my first adult lessons about participation in the American way of life.  Regrettably, I learned sometimes America is not what it is portrayed to be.  I learned the American Dream is not necessarily the goal we chase but the way we retell the story of America.  Revisionist history is often the American Dream.  We long for the good old days, not when America was necessarily great but when we were young enough not to know any better.  Don't misunderstand me.  America has done some great things.  Technology and War are two of our greatest things.  But when you take a closer look at the "Greatness" of America you will find it was never great for all, and rarely great for most.      I am astonished how many Americans can preach the positive attributes of America while ignoring the glaring
