THE FALL OF THE DUCK DYNASTY
Phil Robertson, the patriarch of the reality show Duck Dynasty, supposedly participated in hate speech today. He made anti-gay remarks. Well... sort of. He quoted his Bible. Which we all know is full of hate speech. Yet we pretend we don't know this. We pretend the Bible does not participate in hate speech towards gays, women and other religions. We pretend it doesn't encourage murder in both action and words. We are so adorable. Now we are going to feign outrage at Robertson's remarks. He was just paraphrasing (accurately) his religious doctrine, the Bible. Evidently this man cannot accurately represent his religion. His representation ran contrary to the faux Christian doctrine which many Christians love to profess.
