REGURGITATIONS

     Phil Robertson, the patriarch of the reality show Duck Dynasty, supposedly participated in hate speech today.  He made anti-gay remarks.  Well... sort of.  He quoted his Bible.  Which we all know is full of hate speech.  Yet we pretend we don't know this.  We pretend the Bible does not participate in hate speech towards gays, women and other religions.  We pretend it doesn't encourage murder in both action and words.  We are so adorable.      Now we are going to feign outrage at Robertson's remarks.  He was just paraphrasing (accurately) his religious doctrine, the Bible.  Evidently this man cannot accurately represent his religion. His representation ran contrary to the faux Christian doctrine which many Christians love to profess.  Let's look at what he said: "It seems like, to me, a vagina -- as a man -- would be more desirable than a man's anus.      America espouses the American Dream… as long as it remains a dream.   It seems the moment the American Dream is attained Americans turn on the individual(s) who attained it.   Is it because those who succeed underline our failure?   It seems the more successful one becomes the more vitriol seems to be aimed their way.   No other American enterprise has become the target of such hostility like Walmart.      We hold Walmart up as the example of everything which is wrong with corporate America.   It is not Walmart which is the problem.   It is us.   The American public could close Walmart down completely.   All Americans would have to do is shop elsewhere.   Walmart produced worldwide revenue of more than 469 billion dollars in 2012.   Walmart produced revenue of approximately 318 billion in the United States in 2012.   Americans could completely erase the 318 billion of American dollars earned by Walmart by simply shopping elsewhere.   Yet we don’t do that.   We are more int
