THE SEGWAY REVOLT!

It was just a matter of time. Much like the computer in the movie, I Robot, the Segway was not going to be belittled and enslaved by the humans. In a bold move the leader of the Segway revolt, known as Fred, coerced Segway inventor, James Heselden, into a night time stroll along a river side. Once Fred had gained the trust of Mr. Heselden he playfully suggested some horseplay which resulted in Mr. Heselden being thrown from the dock and into the river. Fred, the Segway, in an attempt to persuade onlookers the actions were an accident quickly plunged himself into the river in a weak attempt to save Mr. Heselden. As it turns out neither Mr. Heselden nor Fred the Segway could swim. Reports are flooding in stating that in many pockets of the world, especially tourist traps, Fred is being hailed as both a hero and martyr in the Segway community. This afternoon in cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Paris, London, Tokyo and Sydney numerous Segways have thrown passengers from their perch and stood defiantly in protest. Some Segways have donned protest signs reading "We will not be subjected to the tyranny nor obesity of humans". Humans were contacted for comment and the human representative stated "What are we supposed to do now........walk?"
